These Terms of Use (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of Grant Tracker by Grantage (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
Grant Tracker is a free, informational tool that aggregates publicly available grant opportunities from sources such as Grants.gov and the California Grants Portal. The Service is offered “as is” to support your own research, planning, and team workflows.
2. Eligibility & accounts
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding agreement to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity that occurs under your account.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Resell, sublicense, or commercially redistribute Grant Tracker data or content.
- Scrape, mass-download, or programmatically extract data without our written permission.
- Use the Service to harass others, transmit spam, or violate any law.
- Bypass security, rate limits, or other technical controls.
- Impersonate any person or organization or misrepresent your affiliation.
4. Grant data
Grant data is sourced from public databases and federal/state systems and is subject to change without notice. We make reasonable efforts to keep the information current and accurate, but funding amounts, eligibility criteria, and deadlines must always be verified on the official agency website before applying. We are not responsible for omissions, inaccuracies, or delays in the underlying data.
5. No warranty; not legal or financial advice
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. Nothing in Grant Tracker constitutes legal, financial, or grant-writing advice. Please consult a qualified professional for advice specific to your situation.
6. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Grantage and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenues, data, or business opportunities arising from your use of the Service.
7. Termination
You may delete your account at any time from the Profile page. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or use the Service in a way that risks harm to us or other users. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive.
8. Changes to the Service or Terms
We may update the Service and these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflicts-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in California.
